Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving friends!!!
I love the whole concept of spending a whole day focusing entirely on the many things in our lives that we can be thankful for. Over here in the UK we don't officially celebrate this day, but I certainly celebrate the gratitude side of it. That is why I thought I'd kick this post off with a list of just some of the things I'm thankful for at the moment.
1. I'm thankful for my viewers and subscribers on my YouTube channel. I love them to pieces and they're an incredibly supportive bunch. I'm lucky to have them.
2. I'm thankful for my lovely kitty, Cinna. I like his little smiles that he does when he's sleepy and the adorable way he takes 5 hours to perfect his wiggle-butt routine before he pounces on his 'prey' (aka hair bobbles, toy mice, ribbons etc).
3. I'm thankful for my partner, who is happy (or at least supportive of) me buggering off to run half marathons, leaving him standing around in the cold, carrying all my race gear, waiting for me to finish.
4. I'm thankful for all the massive changes I've made to my fitness this year. My FitBit cardio score (now very good to excellent) has never looked better!!!
5. I'm thankful for my internet friends. They may live across the atlantic from me mostly, but I love 'em anyway.
6. I'm thankful for books. There's so much wisdom contained in them, and if I don't feel like learning anything, I can always escape reality into the land of fiction.
7. I'm thankful for food that tastes good. I like to eat, what more can I say.
8. I'm thankful for my growing faith in myself and the idea that maybe I can make a success of my life after all.
9. I'm thankful for my bed, my furry blankets, my sofa and any other device that I can snuggle up in, on, or under when it's cold.
10. Lastly I'm thankful for my amazing new boiler, radiators and shower. I just had my heating system upgraded recently and the novelty of actual hot water in the taps (no more luke warm showers for me) as well as functioning heating has yet to wear off.
